Noosa is one of the best known havens for backpackers that are either looking for work or a great place to visit on their trip around Oz. It is a mecca for young travellers offering great hostels, eateries, attractions galore and not to mention sun, sand and surf! The number one reason why backpackers love to come to Noosa if for the pristine beaches that completely surround this town! There is also the beautiful Noosa National Park, which is a gorgeous park with cliffs, sandy beaches, some fantastic walking and is the most visited national park in Australia. There is also the added bonus of having the sheltered Noosa River which offers excellent swimming, boating and fishing. The Noosa Sound is a great place to go kayaking for the day and everyone loves to take a wander along Hastings Street which runs parallel to the main beach and has very fine restaurants, ice-creameries, bars and a couple of busy nightclubs. Within the whole of Noosa there are heaps of places to party from an array of pubs, club and lounge bars that offer great entertainment and even better music! Noosa offers plenty of budget accommodation and hostels for backpackers! The accommodation is cheap and friendly and there are ideal places to stay when visiting this beautiful part of Queensland. Some places are located in nearby Noosaville or right in the heart of it all. No matter where you do decide to stay while you are here, you will be greeted with friendly staff, plenty of onsite facilities to make your stay enjoy and comfortable and a range of attractions that are all close by. Noosa is full of wonderful things to do and places to go. Whichever hostel you do decide to stay at you will only ever be within walking distance from the river which houses such activities as boat hire, jet ski hire, not to mention great fishing. The river is renowned for its great sunsets so why not come and check them out. It is also known as one of the cleanest rivers in Qld. Noosa is only a stone’s throw away with its great beaches, national parks and of course Hastings Street. The Eumundi Markets are another great attraction to visit while you are here and they are on twice a week and are a must see while you are in Noosa. You can take the short drive to Eumundi or you can catch one of the local shuttle buses or take a tour bus and incorporate another couple of attractions at the same time. You may prefer to spend some time on the fringing ocean waters that house some of Australia’s most finest diving and snorkelling sites. Explore the beautiful under world and amazing coral gardens with the array of marine life and fish that call these waters home you will be in awe. There are also some great fishing charters that you can do, from deep sea, reef and game fishing tours.
